Alex Reed

” I first came to yoga in 2003 as a way of establishing both physical and mental wellness. However, it wasn’t until 2009 when I made the commitment to practice no less than four times a week that I discovered it was a path toward self and divine love. Through all of my ups and downs my yoga practice has been my soft, safe spot to land and grow out of and I encourage all of my students to make that commitment as well.

I think of the Los Angeles yoga community as my true teacher and if you have taught in and around Los Angeles in the last 10 years I probably have taken your class at least once. Professionally I’m a licensed massage therapist, certified yoga instructor, published poet and free spirit. I have studied and observed massage, yoga and tantra in Los Angeles, New Zealand, Northern Thailand, and India. You can count on me to play architecturally fitting music, read poetry both new and old, and guide you to that sweet space between softness and strength.”
